@nmries Hey there – first off, I am still planning on doing that fender
video you requested. I just haven’t been able to get to it yet. As for the
rubber plugs, try a Mercedes dealership, or Mercedes Classic Center (their
info is on the Mercedes website). No real aftermarket solution for that.
For the smoking, start with a valve ADJUSTMENT (a DIY job – I don’t have a
video on that… yet) and run a can of Lubro Moly’s Diesel Purge through
the engine. Those should make a big difference.
