Showing how to replace the water pump on a Mazda 3.
Before starting to work on the car please make sure the engine is cold, so that the antifreeze is ok to be drained.
Remember to loosen the pulley bolts before removing the belt.

Ive been getting a grinding sound on cold starts. I suspect the water pump. Anyone else experienced a grinding/grumbling sound that goes away after a few minutes and found it was the water pump?
