FORD Destroyed MAZDA.
I owned an 87 MAZDA R-X7 GXL. It rode like a Two Horse Wagon and the 5-speed shifter was notchy. I also made the mistake of buying an 89 MAZDA B2200. It was a piece of crap as well. I will NEVER own another MAZDA in my LIFE. Let Scotty's video teach you a Warning and listen to his sound advice. This man is smart and knows what he is taking about.
Aisin transmissions hold up well. The two major drawbacks of the first gen CX9 are the water pump and the transfer cases (PTU) for AWD models.

Mazda made in JAPAN is bullet proof. It's sad they used the crap FORD engines for some time. Hope they will made their own engines or at least use Toyota ones!
