Josh Liu says:

I changed my TCM today, it did not work. Still check engine light on, AT light on. Very shaking when shifting gears, and never shift over 3rd.

Reaper350z says:

I was just given a second mazda3 (2007 2.3 N/A) because the transmission is having issues even after the tcm refurbish. Still shifts hard but I have a feeling it’s the wiring. I’m having trouble trying to source a harness and what led me to believe that it is the harness is that the battery keeps dying after being fully charged and plugged back into the car. Would love to hear advice or get a good link to source the harness.

Johannes Bahm says:

I have a TCM problem, my part number is LFS3 18 9E1A.
2006 Mazda 3 LF 2.0L

Will an L3 type TCM work on my car?

Karen 7 says:

Where can we buy a brand new tcm

Jos Buendi says:

goyardhold30 says:

How do you get that yellow plastic piece off the bolt holding down the TCM

caden dequilla says:

I have a 2008 mazda 3 (2.3L 5 speed auto) and I started my car and tried to go into reverse. When that happened my car felt like it almost stalled and my engine and transmission light came on, any ideas what my problem can be? My reader pulled the u0101 code

After party says:

Not too long ago, my tcm was replacement and everything went well but now my pcm is bad, could it be that I wired it wrong ?

Harold Johnson says:

Do all 2004 Mazda3 2.0 come with tcm

Fly Guy Drives says:

I've got a P0841 and P0732 transmission code for a 2007 Mazda 2 2.3. Should I change all the solenoids out (P0732)? Where's the location for the transmission fluid pressure switch (P0841)?

Doc !!! says:

If the TCM is causing me so many issues in a simple Mazda 3, I hate to think of the expensive problems you might get in a Tesla.

Doc !!! says:

I'm still having issues with the TCM a mechanic took it out but couldn't get a replacement so he put it back in ( this cost me $180) so at least I can use the car, amazingly it started to work again for a while, and now it's not working again. Does anyone know anyone in Brisbane who actually knows how to fix these TCM problems? Somewhere I read that the TCM is supposed to last for the life of the car, and perhaps many are being replaced when they don't have to be. I don't know, I would just like the problem fixed, it's just very friggin annoying.

Veronica Rodriguez says:

My 2007 Mazda3 tcm failed last year. Took it to dealer and they quoted me around $1500 to fix. They later called me while they still had my car and said it was still covered under P warranty? My car at this point had about 107k miles on it. They ended up replacing it for free but told me that the motor mount right above it was worn out & damaged & when it is, it can cause the tcm to get damaged due to hitting it? I asked if they could place the module in a different location but they said it would void any warranty & was specified to go in the location it is. Given I didn’t have to pay for it I didn’t push it. I did have them replace then motor mount above tcm since they were already in there. Never the less they charged a lot for that but I still saved money on the tcm. When I asked what warranty it fell under they just said p warranty, I didn’t question it further in case they reversed their decision lol but until this day I am not sure what they meant. Maybe powertrain warranty?

Ali Bilge Öztürk says:

Hello. I need serious help. My car has problems similar to the ones mentioned in the video. I'm using a 2011 mazda 3 BL. The car shakes a lot when shifting from 3rd to 4th gear. RPM spikes momentarily and the vehicle shakes. Sometimes when I shift the gear to R, the car does not move. The gear can shift into R, but the vehicle does not move. The mechanics suggest a complete transmission swap, but I would like to try everything before this final solution. Do you think the problem could be TCM related?

Kyle KAM says:

My 06 Mazda 3 sometime jerks during a mild acceleration and the check engine and AT light will come on then go away. Is it the TCM going bad?

Heyo Digz says:

you could of show the removal of the two bolts but thanks

Pacific Bay Auto, Inc. says:

will this service work on a 2015 Mazda 3?

Amazing Sylvia says:

Hey Guys,
I want to sent my TCM to you to be fixed, how can I do that?

JD H says:

Could the TCM still be suspected without my AT light illuminating?

I have a very rough shift into R when cold. Also, feels like it goes in and out of reverse, not a slip, but feels like engaging and and disengaging. I also have a hard 1-2 shift, mostly when cold. Both don't seem quite as bad when the car has been driven for a while, though they still don't seem quite right.

Norm Cook says:

2.3L engine?

Javier Perez says:

where is it on a 2005?
