Installing an aftermarket radio in a Mazda 3

Showing how to install a aftermarket radio in a Mazda 3.
Apart from a new radio you will need an adapter harness and a new Bezel, which fits your model of Mazda 3.
Prepare the harness adapter ahead of time, so all you have to do during the installation is plug the harness in between the vehicle harness and the new radio.

Great video. For everyone curious on where to find wiring harness and bezel head to http://www.crutchfield.com
You enter year, make and model at their homepage. Shop for decks, speakers, etc and they usually give the mounting equipment for free with purchase.

That navi looks like it's smashed and squeezed there. Plus, you did such a sloppy job, I mean come on…

Is it just me or did he not replace 1 screw?

Both the head unit bezel and head unit look like they're going to fall out. Doesn't look OEM at all, would be a target to thieves, and the break-in damage would be a lot more $$ than the head unit is worth. Went with an Eonon GA9251B. Looks and fits like it's OEM, retained all my factory features/functions including the OEM LCD + MPG calculator, and of course has large knobs.

Lol just like I did you dropped the screw and didn't want to take it all back out. xD

Does it still support steering wheel controls

You said you had the links for the wiring harness and bezel? Did I miss those in the description? Can you please provide? I know I can search ebay. NBD, but would like to see what you used.

Also, what happened to the LCD display opening? I noticed a usb female plug up there but no replacement panel for that opening. Any suggestions? Thanks.
