Pollo Frito says:

Not only should year range and model be mentioned in title, but also the engine. This car shown in the video has the 2.3L inline-4 and this procedure is totally different for the 3.0L V6 for this same model in this same year range.

Randy Sanders says:

Does anyone know where the thermostat is on a v6?

Atiba says:

Hey, nice job!
My mazda do not cool anymore im not sure if its the waterpump or the thermostat how can i know this? I fill coolant to max and go for a ride the car gets very fast to max temperature when i looked the coolant was even more then max and after the motor cooled down the cooler sucked all the coolant away? What can this be?

Jeffrey B says:

Chris Cecil says:

Well instructed! I have a Mazda Tribute with the location and design of the thermostat being very similar if not the same. I am prepared to tackle tomorrow! ha ha. Seriously though this video gives me the know how and confidence to handle as a do it your selfer. The torgue used is in question for the thermostat install and how many gallons of coolant to put back but may have to use best judgement on the torque and follow her instrutions when putting coolant back in. Thanks!

Yuk Tuk says:

These videos are very well done. Thank you!

Andrew Haines says:

So less than half an hour to replace the thermostat. Dealers charge how much plus parts? Me thinks some are taking us for a fool! I think mine needs replacing as the temp drops on the motorway.

Give the videos coming. On 3 different cars I’ve owned these have been very helpful to know what I’m getting into.

Hello, thank you for the video.
How much is the torque of the screws?

SlikkRyry410 says:

What’s the tool to loosen the tensioner up ?

ben hoysradt says:

The installation video is extremely helpful but.. Why is your website so hard to navigate. I have to scroll down through all the parts for my vehicle to find a thermostat. When I type “thermostat” into the keyword search, comes up with no results for my vehicle..
