How to Replace Brake Pads on 2013 Mazda 3 DIY

Our buddy Jared has a Mazda3 which badly needed rear brake pads. We show you how to change brake pads as well as demonstrate how to use a brake piston compression tool! Hardway Learning does something other than show you the sweet Miata.

This job would be a lot easier for someone not working on a car that is exposed to salt. Rust impedes your ability to remove bolts and disassemble parts.

Tools Needed:
-Dan
-Kyle
-14mm Socket
-7mm Allen wrench
-Jack
-Jack Stands
-Large Flat Head Screwdriver (for prying)
-Brake Piston Compression tool (rent from local auto shop)
-Needle Nose Pliers

They rock and just released a Pokémon music video!
