Were you double gloving with a disposable glove underneath the Mechanix gloves?
Iv done mine a few times but now got a stuck piston so I’m doing the rebuild kit I heard about the handbrake adjustment bolt/screw at the back of the caliper you ever seen it ?? I know mx5 has one. So wondering if the rx8 did

Did you have to take off the handbrake cable in the rear ?
bolt size to remove the rotor 8mm x 1.25, available @ home depot for a buck and some change 🙂
