You can spend a lot of money restoring a car.. It is very hard to do it
cheap. But the reward of doing it is great. I bought my RX7 on a low ball
eBay lark. I saw it and bid $2200. One owner 47K miles original in Dallas
TX. Got on a cheap plane and drove 1400 miles to NY . Now I have too many
cars. Make more videos of your RX7 . I’d love to watch them. Thanks.

That part of the repair at the time was just to install hyperflex bushings.
The GSL SE has rotors on all four corners. The reinforce plate is .125″
Stainless steel. I drilled holes where the spot welds were and then filled
in the holes with my MIG Welder. You have to cut out the bad and drill out
the spot welds, then sand blast to get to the bottom of it. Took 6 weeks to
do that and add power steering in my spare time. Thanks for the comments.

Ron Nice car. This car started out as a Rotary transplant into my Fiat
X1/9, the car had 6 owners but the last owner had it for 10 years in a
garage deciding what to do with it. I paid $1200 for it in 2003, My 17 year
old son at the time didn’t want me to carve it up, So I got it running for
him to drive and told him that one day I would restore it. Well, 18 months
and $25K latter here is where I am at. Have had some issues with MS2 but I
am past them now.
