How to replace a starter on Lotus Evora.
Disconnect negative battery terminal
Remove the upper engine cover
Undo the three clips that are holding the upper air filter housing to the lower housing. Remove upper air house filter housing.
Remove clamp holding the large air intake pipe
Remove lower air filter housing by undoing three 10 mm bolts
Undo positive terminal and start signal wire
Remove the 17 mm bolt the 14 mm bolt and the 10 mm bolt
Common failure on this starter are the brushes wearing down to the very end and the overrun gear. If rebuilding change solenoid as well
