I am sure Maldonado will enjoy crashing this car

jack black says:

audio sounds alot better .makes it a more enjoyable, coherent content :)

Samzilla says:

Great job on the audio, agree lotus should’ve went with honda also but when
you can’t beat them you join them. So I can’t blame lotus f1 for going with
Mercedes engines

Luke Woods says:

Surprisingly the Renault engine is more expensive per year than the
Mercedes engine, why I don’t know 😛 but partly explains why they left.
Why wouldn’t you want a better engine for less money

Gino Punsalan says:

Lotus was in no position to gamble. They needed quick results to bring in
sponsors.

Prince Armstrong says:

Points Standing:
Romain Grosjean – 125 pts.
Pastor Maldonando – 12 pts.

Matty B says:

Thank you Scarbs and Peter! Was waiting for this since the pictures came
out.

Charles Matthews says:

Williams FW37 1st Williams job is to get the gearing right to take
advantage of the low drag on high speed tracks. Drivers needs to get on the
ball.
Mercedes W06 2nd Great car.
McLaren MP4 30 3rd Vary good car ? the engine power.
SRT STR10 4th Very good car did Adrian Newey do this one for
them? I see great things from this car.
Lotus E23 5th Good car.
C5 Sauber C33 6th Good car. ? Did Ferrari engine gain power this
year.
Ferrari SF15-T 7th OK Sebastian Vettel not going to be that happy.
Did Ferrari engine gain power this year. Ferrari lost the most with the new
aero rules worst nose so far.
.Force India 8th Alot to fix. The only thing going for them
Mercedes engine and drivers.
so far????

Lord Yllsacky says:

For some reason it reminds me of the FW16 with that nose, so strange seeing
a really low nosed f1 car (looks really good though).

Lotus cola says:

Probably slowest Mercedes powered car.

Job Salazar says:

Soonest they get a real driver next season…ups sorry Maldonado didn’t
know you were there? Hybrid…wow! dose it run with AA or AAA’s
Batteries…Oh Wi – Fi ! Great!

Neil Murgatroyd says:

I’m not sure I agree that Renault are stronger with only 2 customers. More
focused, but Dev cost is spread over fewer engines, they don’t get free
money like Ferrari.
Also disagree about the wisdom of taking the merc engine. Yes it’s ‘johnny
come lately’ compared to Williams, but the right thing to do for this year
and probably next year as well.
Good article, good sound, thanks

Paww says:

Peter’s memory seems to be lacking a bit, Honda have admitted to have an
exclusive deal with McLaren for 2015 as their only customer. – So Lotus had
the choice of sticking with what is being said is the most expensive
package on the grid and also the most temperamental for a cheaper and more
successful one. – Seems like a no brainer.

Shaun Hutchinson says:

The breathing is back again from poor post production processing :(. Other
than that though, once again a great insight from Scarbs as usual, greatly
appreciated. Will either Peter or Scarbs be attending this weekends testing
to provide some update videos at the end of every day of testing to keep us
up to do date?

Glyn Taylor-Williams says:

Yay, Audio is better :)

David Golding says:

Not a Lotus issue but surely its time to reduce the profile of the tyre and
increase the wheel diameter.

ZKev1 says:

Straight line speed car

Rick Deckard says:

Great work spending some engine tokens on a mic for Scarbs Christmas
present Peter!

titancheat says:

I think it’s a damn good looking car compared to all the others last
season. No stupid nose. The sidepods kind of make it look lmp like from the
side.

funkmasterkp says:

Agree with others posts. Audio improvement is gratefully appreciated.

Panagiotis Delphinis says:

the front wing reminds me of McLaren MP4-19 for some reason

mohammed sajwani says:

Thank you for the great sound quality.

Lucas Salazar says:

audio sounds alot better .makes it a more enjoyable, coherent content :)

Christian Rathjen says:

hangm4n says:
