Mervat Emara says:

I watched the two videos u made last year and it was amazing that I made one with diameter1.8metre until now..it looks very nice ..so thank u very much

Lynn says:

Two things…for those who feel the Whirl yarn is too expensive I say this..How much would you spend on making a baby blanket you are giving as a gift? $20 $30. The Whirl cost me between $20-$25 and ONE made the entire baby blanket/lapghan. Look at it this way and the $20 is not as expensive as you are thinking. 2nd, I know how much you have on your plate and I was interested on how the one with Tribe Yarn came out. If you agree, you can send me the yarn and I will crochet it for you and send it back. I would happily do the work in exchange for yarn. Just send me a message.

Dawn B says:

Thank you for posting this. I'm on my first lotus pattern, row 47 and also my first crochet project. It's going well, a few mistakes but learning lots. Few odd bumps here and there. Completely underestimated how much wool I would use, just picked one and have just ordered my sixth skien to finish it. It's huge!

Kerry B says:

So.. I ordered this whirl. My daughter loved it. It's Rhubarb Bumble I think. It came and I like it.. but it's not my usual as I love bright colors. I wondered what I could make for a 24 year old. Not into shawls. I've made her so many blankets. So I thought maybe a hand bag.. tote bag. Purse type of thing. I found one on Instagram with no pattern. I figure, to use the whole whirl I should use whatever stitch takes up the most yarn. Like a puff stitch or bobble or something.
Unless you know of a pattern I can buy that will use a whole whirl?

Jon Snow says:

great video! thanks for answering all these questions. just wanted to point out that the mandalas are actually 590 meters, so it would take approximately 2 cakes of those to equal a whirl. the color changes are quite abrupt though, which i donโ€™t particularly care for for this project. thanks again for all you do!!

Kerry B says:

Still love this blanket. I made it too. Thought about adding more on.. like buying a smaller whirl.. but I can't decide on the color and how to mix whatever color I choose because of how they blend the colors at Scheepjes.
Your hands and nails are so pretty, geez, my nails are all dried out from all the crocheting I do and I look like I've been digging out of the mines..Lol!

Kim Darrow says:

I absolutely LOVE this pattern! I'm currently working on my 4th Lotus Flower blanket! I've used 4-5 skeins of Lion brand Mandela. They're 540m each.

Karen Behymer says:

The talking hands…….feels awkward. Would rather see you, but I understand. I'd be too shy.

Lola Bear says:

I love the talking hands. I hope to try this blanket pattern with a whirl this year sometime. Maybe a grandbaby girl coming soon…
