I was able to get my Lotus Esprit Speedometer Odometer repaired for no cost at all. I was able to use a cheap auto-meter gauge from Jegs or Summit to repair my Lotus Esprit Speedometer.

Hi. I bought an '89 SE sight unseen from a UK auction, last September, and shipped it here to New Zealand. Yep – I'm pretty dumb! Main faults are speedo, odometer, heater and A/C! I'm seeing a pattern here. How much of a drama is it to get the binnacle off? I'm keen to get to the speedo, and also to somehow repair/replace the laminated wood which has cracked. I think only the SE model had the wooden fascia. Love to see you tackling your issues yourself! Oh – also had a slow window too.
