Hi ! Need your help. I have 2015 MKZ hybrid. Car was sitting for couple months , I realised battery is dead . So I bought original battery from the dealership, replaced it as in regular car with no resets or anything . And when turned it on shift sys fault came up. I can’t go into any gear . Transmission stuck in park.
Such an ugly car! Why on earth is it so complicated?? Terrible car.. Too overpriced and outdated. UGH!

To keep 12 volts on battery clamps was my ? On reprogram with out scanner!
? If I put alligator clamps as I remove terminals and keepclamps on terminals? Would I still need to reprogram BMS, this is not a job for average Joe and I would bring to shop! This was very educational and very in depth! Thank you!
