#lincolncontinental#78stinkinlincoln#lincoln In this video we are going to learn how to replace valve cover gaskets on a 1978 Lincoln Continental Town Car. I will be filming this entire production using InShot editor and a Go Pro Hero 8. This process in the video will be similar for all Ford 460 V8’s from that era as well as there smaller V8’s. In this 2 part series I will go through all the steps required to replace the valve cover gaskets driver and passenger side. This is part 2 so be sure to watch part 1 for disassembly. I recommend 6 ft lbs torque for all valve gasket bolts. And do a cris-crossed pattern while tightening the valve cover gasket. With rubber this will need to be perfect whereas cork gaskets will absorb some oil and expand to seal against any oil leaking making up for imperfect tightening.
