One of, if not, the best comments we have received. Companies are trying harder and harder to prevent owners from servicing their own products. At this time, it has only created better accomplishments! Gob bless!

THANK YOU! I am a girl, use a walker and wheelchair to get around AND I DID IT!!! I replaced the regulator and motor by following your video. This only inspires me that we can do ANYTHING we put our minds to. God willing! Amen!!! would have cost $245 and only cost $100, bought the pry bar and suctions at Harbor Freight and the regulator at O’Reilly Auto Parts. I think I may be able to work on my own muscle car after all…:)
( video response in my videos!) Thanks again!! God bless!

A bit more on routing the wire looms through the regulator cables and why that is needed including the one cable that is zip tied to the inner door metal. Some commentary and detailed video would answer curiosity as to why the factory routes those cables as they do.

Did everything but can’t get the window to go up. Goes half way and kicks back down.

Saw this just in time. Got my regulator and was just about to drop a bill to have it installed. I am going to do it myself.

Thank you for this video.

Leonnard Davis says:

great video,…just bought an 01′ and both front windows are off track… Also is there a certain place to get these assembly rigs online?

Roland Brown says:

I was trying to replace my 2005 Ls regulator when I put the frame in and plugged the power cable to the motor the motor it immediately shot up and stopped.. It’s very hot and will not come back down using my window button. What can I do? Is the motor blown? Why would it move without me pressing the button in the first place? Please help!

Thank you for makin this video keep goin and don’t stop cuz you helped me a lot

They are MB Wheels Sprite series. My wife unknowingly bought a set for my van for Anniversary. I got to say, they look great on anything you want to slap them on. The ones on the LS have been through all seasons and no sign salt burn or other environmental wear. Let me know you have received this message at your convenience. Cheers,

Travis Allen says:

Can you email me and tell me what kind of wheels these are? Or you could just sell me yours 🙂 Travis.JAllen86@yahoo.com

Just wanted to say thanks for this fantastic video. I have to perform this very same job on my 02 LS. Very helpful indeed. Thank you for saving me both money and time. I actually purchased the same exact suction cups at Harbor Freight to hold my window up before I found this video.

I too used this video to assist myself in the R&R of my 2002 Lincoln LS drivers side regulator. It was a breeze and I saved $150 in labor. Thank you.

Michael Fagan says:

This is a great guide. I used it to help me replace the driver side front window regulator on a 2002 Lincoln LS. Nice job! This is really easy and saves a bunch of money.

Christian Stevenson says:

I have a broken motor on my driver side, rear door window. Would you expect that repair process to be similar to what you’ve done here on the passenger side front door?

Nice work!

jesse anderson says:

Thanks for the great video it sure helped me out!! Only one thing i got an 04 LS and after i got the regulator put in the window wanted to go down automatically when at the top. To fix this you have to take the window all the way down release the button and then press it down again till you here a click then do the same for the top. Oh yeah i got automatic windows

Jose Soto says:

thanks a lot i was unsure of doing this myself but your video was clear and very helpful. keep up the good work… thanks again…

cozymel8181 says:

preciate the video.. once you reattach the new regulator, how does the window fit back into place or fit with/on the regulator? Not able to remove window as in the video.

chunkup07 says:

Sure I appreciate the help.

BronzeProductions says:

If at all possible, can you give me a couple days. The person that owns it is out of town and won’t be back until Thursday.

chunkup07 says:

Yes that would help out a lot.

BronzeProductions says:

We had used the suctions due to the clips breaking. Mind if I make a quick video? I can have it done for you today if you would like?

chunkup07 says:

The previous owner of the Lincoln Ls broke the interior door handle and the speaker rattles a lot. If I stick the suctions that you used in the video, will I be able to pull the window straight out like you did or will there be a different procedure that I’ll need to do?

BronzeProductions says:

I am assuming ( and we know what assuming does) that you would need to remove the window atleast from a safety point for the door handle. The mechanism is right behind the window and track. The speaker will be easy to access as it is right on the front. Might ask why both of these are being replaced? It could also be an electrical issue and not a mechanical one. If it is mechanical issue I recommend doing this step to also make it easier in replacing the handle.
