The best way to get any car to last for a long period of time is to keep the oil and fluids clean. Changing the oil every 3,000 miles or 7500 (if using full synthetic) will really help to make your motor last. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
You may be able to if there’s enough room to route it differently. Your factory diagram might show you the non-AC routing path.
My AC compressor locked up in my 97 Town Car, resulting in the serpentine snapping. Can I re-install another serpentine and bypass the compressor altogether?
Thank you for visiting our auto repair channel on YouTube. Have a great day…1aauto.com
Very nice video!! My father in law and brother in law said it was that bolt on the tensioner pulley that needed to be cranked, which made no sense when just looking at it, even before I watched this video. I tried to explained to them what you explained to me and they still thought they were right….until I got the job done lol…Many thanks bro!!
Pretty easy! I have the service manual and it didnt say to use the socket handle in the center of the tensioner pulley. It just said to rotate it clockwise but you were left to your own devices as to how to do that. With this video explaining that you just need the tool for that single pulley I got the whole job done in less than 5 minutes.
