Mickey says:

Will the Amazon kit work on a 2011 Lincoln MKT?

Charles Mobley says:

For belt no need to remove tire and liner. Just tie an 18 ga wire around belt and pull new belt up between tensioner and ac pulley from top so you cal keep it up while lacing onto alt with tensioner moved to tension side.

Dan F says:

Hi, does the belt ride on the water pump at all for 2007 MKZ? I know it's driven by chain but wondering.
Thanks!

Ryan Worthington says:

You don’t need a special tool for the stretch belt that goes to power steering. It’s actually much easier to use zip ties. You need the big strong ones. There are holes on the power steering pulley. As you start the belt onto the pulley you zip tie the belt to the pulley. You might have to zip tie the second hole as you spin the belt onto the power steering pulley as you turn the crankshaft pulley.

Jose Salvador Hernandez says:

Do you really have to remove/replace the power steering belt?
Yesterday I drove to DFW with out ANY problems…Then, as I parked, I got the Charging system light. Then when I returned to the car and tried to start it up again, it not only showed the Charging system light, but the hot temperature light. It turned on, no power steering and when I changed gears to back up , the car jumped and stopped. The belt came off?

Astro Kat says:

I cant get a ratchet on tensioner. How did you raise motor. I cant get it to raise enough..
