In this video I replace the spark plugs on my 2003 Lincoln Towncar with a 4.6L V8. This procedure is also applicable to many Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis, Ford Mustang, Ford F-150 as well as some other models. #mobilemechanic #ford #lincoln #mercury #sparkplug #v8 #mustang #f150 #grandmarquis #towncar

If you don't fix it the coils will go bad
The coolant is from the intake plenum the seals are bad not hard to replace
My 03 is misfiring on 3 too. I havent driven it in 2 weeks. Sure miss my car. Don't trust mechanics here. Had a spark plug TOTALLY blow out a couple years ago. what a MESS. grrr…I miss my car!
What is the size of the bolt on the ignition coil?
Very good job, I'm also a Lincoln owner ( '06 ) and willing to bet the coolant is coming from intake . These are notorious for leakage after extended service. I was fortunate enough that my intake was replaced about a year before I purchased. You explain things in a very clear manner which is much appreciated, also love the way you take time to wipe your engine bay down as you work. Clean cars are happy cars !
Water leaks on that rear coil through the above metal clip on cowl
Thank you Andy you did a amazing job explaining the entire job. The only thing missing was the torque spec. Even though you know by feel the information may help someone else from breaking the spark plug.
Great job..are you anywhere near DC.. for business
Really clean looking car. I hope the wet plug issue is not serious.
