Channing Shockley says:

My 2000 ls is overheating lot of steam out of my resivour fill spot and don’t seam to have coolant in top hose could it be the pump or just thermostat also cold air for heat

Gregory Kitchens says:

Mine overheated a bit today, and I already knew the reservoir bottle was cracked but it's not overheated until now so I'm ordering a new thermostat, thermostat housing, reservoir bottle and I already bought a belt. Light as well do it all at once. Ivd never worked on a jaguar engine or any lincoln whatsoever so thanks for the video!

Corey Robinson says:

Thank you so much for your help! You make it look so easy… I wish you could work on my car for me!!!

Meagan Davis says:

Did you end up replacing that driver side actuator?

William Obney says:

I bled the system like it shows on video. Drove the car about a mile after the temp needle hit half way mark and we had heat but it over heated again. And had no heat. Is that a sign the thermostat needs to be changed?

William Obney says:

If it it bled properly and it still over heats and no heat could it be the thermostat?

William Obney says:

I changed the water pump on my Lincoln LS V-8. The car was overheating before I changed the water pump but was leaking water. Even tho we changed the water pump and it is still over heating. Should I change the thermostat also? There is no heat either. If the system is not blead right would that cause it to over heat? Any suggestions?

Why would the thermostat housing be leaking from the overflow split if the housing and thermostat are new ?
