What year is this Lexus or is it the same on all models? Is the process the same for 2016 es350 ?
Just performed a doorlock actuator motor transplant on the driver's side rear door actuator in a 2005 RX330. The price of the motor was $9.00. The Lexus dealership wanted $450.00 to replace the actuator assembly. The Lexus service representative claimed they "wouldn't know what they would get into" once they began the work. It's always gratifying to turn the tables on automobile service department shysters.
Thank you, this video helped me change the actuator on a 2013 Lexus RX350 and I had absolutely no prior experience with this stuff.
How does the car key fob recognize the new door lock actuator?

Awesome video! Lexus wanted $550 to replace the actuator on my 2014 GS350. I got one from Amazon for $61.99 and did it myself in less than an hour. I did need to loosen the window track when reinstalling the new one, but it was just two bolts. The toughest part of this whole job was getting the door panel back on. Thanks for the video!

Thank you for the video. I referred it to fix my actuator on 2006 IS 350. Very useful video. I had to remove the bolt holding the glass sliding metal bar to free up some space to be easy in and out for the actuator on my car. other than that basically everything else is the same to your video. Thank you so much.

Great video!!! I used it to replace the actuator on my 2010 RX350 — this video is for the previous body style but is STILL 98% the same and saved me $650!!! Thanks SO much for posting this! I may try to up load a video of me replacing the next one on my 2010 but I couldn’t have done this without this video!
