Are the UCAs required if I don’t want any lift

Ben Winningham says:

I bet the full install was like 2 hrs. He makes it look so easy.

I thought this kit comes with kdss spacer kit.

Chris Harris says:

great video — very clear — thanks

Jason Schmidt says:

This is the kind of service you should get when buying $5k suspension system. Unfortunately nobody else does them this nicely. Good job guys, you are setting the standard of what good customer service and support looks like!

Ordered a stage 2 foam cell pro kit for my 4runner this week, can't wait to get it installed. Great tutorial video, thank you.

Ashley De Souza says:

wouldn't you need a wheel alignment done right after? It wasn't mentioned.

Vincente Pericoli says:

Just did this today. This video is immensely helpful. But, even backing the KDSS shutter valves 2 turns, the KDSS was a nightmare. Couldn't get the LCA low enough to install the coilover. Had to disconnect the swaybar from the LCA, then spent 2 hours fighting it to get it back on. Jacking up the swaybar underneath the hydraulic ram was the key.

Lexus Off-Road says:

I just bought a 2018 GX and can’t wait to start my build. Let the saving money begin!

Arshdeep Singh Sidhu says:

So didn’t knew the spindle and wheel assembly are not supposed to hang all the way out.
I did the install before watching this, can you help me how to diagnose for any issues if I messed anything up?

Arbab Adam says:

Impressive great job man

dballare says:

Excellent video. Thanks.

Automotive Oscilloscope Diagnostics says:

Hey mate
Appreciate your videos. Just purchased a foam cell pro kit for my 2019 150 Prado and installed the front struts and rear coil springs. I have two questions for you if I may. Firstly does the washer stacking on the rear shock apply to all the vehicles? I know my Prado does not a have flanged washer on the top side from factory. Secondly the foam cell pro front shock has a much narrower bottom bush than the factory shock. Does iron man install washers inbetween the bush and lower control arm mount to take up the additional clearance. There was nothing in the instructions or fitting kit to suggest that you do.
Thanks again.

FireGuyBri says:

I’m working on my install now and I’m assuming my KDSS didn’t fully release because I had to use a pry bar to move the LCA down enough to get the driver’s side front coil over into place. My UCA ball joint is not aligning so I can place my castle nut. This has been an epic pain. Should I just close the KDSS valves and restart the process? I’m at a loss here. Thanks!

Great video thx

Great job. I like your enthusiasm and professionalism. I'm considering purchasing a rig for serious overland use. I'm looking at the lexus line. Any recommendations?. Thank you for sharing.

SiRosell says:

Great detailed video. Where was this when I lifted my KDSS 4Runner?

P D says:

Hi with gx460 do you need to pull any fuses to remove the High, low or normal symbols on your dash?

Charlie Halsted says:

Awesome vid, but I think you mix up Nm for Ft Lbs on the lower strut/shock bolts. 135 Ft lbs and 96 Ft lbs are too much for those bolts.

EasyRico99 says:

Dude, your "radius" reference should be Convex, you will sound even smarter! Looking to install Stage I on my LX470.

R. Sean Browne says:

AMAZING video! Love the way this guy goes through step by step, while keeping the video short. It's nice to see that he was being silly through the installation as well. Thank you guys for this!

Vlad D says:

Thanks for the awesome video! Any reason why you disconnect the rear sway bay at the axle rather than disconnecting them up top around the kdss piston?

Simon Maina says:

Good instructions and setting of KDSS system is one of the areas I missed out and hence car now is lean on driver's side. I will then balance it by opening the valve at a flat surface to enable car level out. Cheers brother

Hamad M says:

Nice work bro I just bought a 19 GX and traded a 18 lifted TRD off-road Tacoma and I live in Oregon I’d love if mine looked like that with BFGoodrich k02

David Chaparro says:

What loads did you choose for suspension?

merkava23 says:

where is all the rust, stuck bolts, stripped bolt heads?

Mike B says:

Dude u r too smart, bravo

Sideways81 says:

Good tutorial, however, the one thing missing in this tutorial is the passenger side front strut. It isn't as easy as the driver front but if you use a floor jack to compress the driver side sway bar (underneath the kdss hydraulic cylinder), that would allow you more than enough room to remove and install the passenger strut.
