Hi Brian! I have a question. According to the service manual, the last bolt/nut on the suspension arm, on the wheel side (the last one you put on), need a special tool called a 'ball joint lock nut wrench' (SST 09022-12170) to torque the bolt to spec. Is that true? thx!

Hi Brian Eslick, you made a very nice video with very detailed demonstration in how to replace the rear struts on Lexus IS 2008. I followed it and successfully replaced it in my car. I would like to thank you very much for taking your time to make this video to help people like me that before take to the shop try to fix first.

Nice video. Very well done. My 2007 IS250 front struts need replacement. Wonder how much it costs approximately? I also need to replace both front tires. Because one tire inner tread was excessively worn due to leaking strut.

is yours an awd by the way?

Great video. My mechanic recently replaced a leaking strut now the car sits a little too high and there is a gap. Is this due to not preloading the the car on the ground before tightening the suspension components?
