If you hear a grinding or groaning noise while your vehicle is rolling, it might have a worn out wheel bearing. A worn bearing can allow the wheel to wobble, creating a host of other issues. To save yourself from more headaches down the road, replace your bearing right away. This video shows you how to install a new TRQ wheel bearing on your 1998-2005 Lexus GS300.

Is this the same process for an LS400?

So does the hub spin with that much resistance new? I feel like my bearings are bad but I'm not sure

anthony delgrosso says:

I’m on my 4th 2GS. Don’t everrrrrrrrr do a wheel bearing on one without putting some kind of grease in there. Do not rely on the grease provided on the bearing. That is not sufficient enough.

Your Mommy says:

From the factory abs ring comes with white lubricant on it. Shouldn't you put it too?

HOTRODRICO says:

glad to see you close the gap with the brake pads at the end… most people don't do it… one thing tho.. I do it before lower the car cause sometimes when you lower the car down when the wheel makes contact with the floor it cocks it off center a bit and when you press the brake it isnt truly straight… great video… quick question… how many tons is your press ? thanks peace

Tony Aquiningoc says:

I take it that this the same process as the lexus is300

Ave says:

Would a bearing press kit work?

TINRFD says:

After my lexus dealer gave me an estimate of 1200 bucks for both sides, i decided to give it a go doing it myself…
