I love how u skipped over when u put the bulbs in. The bulbs are a massive bitch to put in and is the hardiest part. It look me 45 minutes to get the drivers bulb inn to turn. The passenger side took me 20 minutes. The OEM H11 bulbs plug right inn and turn. H11 HID bulbs are cheap plastic.

Sunny Chan says:

Hi, my 06′ has a factory HID with AFS on passenger side turn on and then off after 1 sec. I’m hoping it’s the bulb, but if it’s the ballast, do you have replacement kit ? Can you give me the instructions of the replacement ? Thanks.

XenonSupply says:

1. The Relay wiring harness will add about 20 minutes additional to your installation.
2. That is correct, one side of the factory connectors will not be used as the wiring harness will be providing power. This does not cause a warning light issue.

anexiole says:

hi there, Your site has a relay kit for this HID conversion kit for the IS250.

1) How much more work is the relay accessory installation?
2) I would assume that the factory connector (the one where the halogen lamp is disconnected from) is not going to be used due to the relay being used?

Thanks

We are always looking for donor vehicles for HID installations. If you live in the Socal area and have a vehicle not yet shown in our tutorials, please contact us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com and we will try to work out something for you.

LIN DEREK says:

can u make one for scion tc?

LexusAlex88 says:

oh really? i thought that the is250 is achieved with xenon in any options…
Thats not cool from Lexus….. Btw. very nice Job you did there on the Video.

XenonSupply says:

The Lexus IS250/350 is not HID as a standard option. Only certain packages include HID with AFS. This video shows the conversion of the H11 Halogen low beam to a new XenonSupply HID Conversion System.

LexusAlex88 says:

The IS250 does allready have Xenon! why did you guys replace it to an other one??
Xenon still xenon… dont understand you…..

XenonSupply says:

Dont worry too much, the installation is pretty straight forward if you follow the steps in the install video. Everything has been laid out step by step. You can contact us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com if you have additional questions.

Thanks,

-XS Team

McSaggler says:

I’m not too good with cars 😐

XenonSupply says:

You can also email us at sales(at)XenonSupply(dot)com for additional info.

Thank you,

Jacky L. says:

i would like to order a pair for my is250 , what temperature did you use? Thanks

XenonSupply says:

If you have autoleveling lights, you have HID’s. You will need the replacement D4S bulbs available on XenonSupply(dot)com

You can also email us at Sales(at)XenonSupply(dot)com and we can set you up with the correct product

POLOCLUBKIDS says:

i have an 2007 is 250 with an auto leveling kit which suggest that i have factory HID’s my drivers side bulb went out..how do i know which bulb to buy? i

drunkenp0t says:

CLEAN SET UP

XenonSupply says:

We have tested the XenonSupply kits and they do not have bulb out warning issues.

NIKAKO1005 says:

hey will it give any error? that bulb is out ..??

thank you

XenonSupply says:

Please email us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com if you have further questions.

AP4L says:

but is it because the factory ballast is uninstalled??

XenonSupply says:

Unfortunately we will not be able to support a non XenonSupply product with regard to the AFS lighting issue. We have performed this installation many times with our kits and have never experienced the AFS warrning. They should not flicker or have any affects on the ECU or warning lights.

AP4L says:

these are tenon HID kit i got from a friend… but is there any way to fix the AFS light?

XenonSupply says:

Is this a XenonSupply HID kit?

AP4L says:

hey i juss installed the HID. the bulb kept cutting off after like 2 seconds so i installed the whole kit with the ballast and now everything is done BUT the AFS OFF light keep blinking on the dash…. any way i can turn that off???

XenonSupply says:

The 2006+ Lexus IS250/350 series all come with Auto lights for the US Market

AP4L says:

hey quick question: if the is250 has the AUTO switch on the light knob then it has factory HIDs already correct? is there any other way to tell without going all the way to the bulb?

AP4L says:

ok thanks alot!!

XenonSupply says:

The Factory HID’s in an IS250 does not require replacement ballasts. All you need to do is remove the old HID bulbs and put the new ones in its place. If you need additional assistance please email us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com

AP4L says:

hey i have a 2007 is250 with factory HID and i bought a HID kit and the bulbs are D2C with the ballast and everything. do i do the same process in hooking them up?

XenonSupply says:

In the future, you will only need the D series replacement bulbs and not the whole HID kit if your bulb burns out.

Khoa Phan says:

Thanks! I took it to Lexus and it was a “faulty bulb”. Lexus replaced free under warranty 😉 If you don’t have warranty, my invoice say Lexus is charging $227.85 for a single HID bulb and $31.48 for labor. If I didn’t have warranty, I would have went with aftermarket HID kit for sure. Thanks again.

XenonSupply says:

if your vehicle lights have the auto leveling feature then yes it has HID. when you car turns on, the lights will auto adjust which means you had stock HID’s

Khoa Phan says:

I have a 2007 IS250 and my driver’s bulb burned out but is there a quick easy way to know my IS used HID or Halogen bulb without actually pulling out the bulb? The car is equipped with Navi and also have AFS. Thanks

XenonSupply says:

The IS250/350 has stock Halogen Projectors and HID’s only come as a package option.

horsesar says:

Doesn’t the IS already come stock with HID’s?

XenonSupply says:

Yes, you can get access through the wheel well and underneath the bumper. It takes some patience to get through all the plastic but once you are through the installation is very straight forward. The bulb type is a 9006 and can be purchased on XenonSupply(dot)com

George150982 says:

Is there any chance you can fit a HID kit on the fog lights of this lexus? I have already followed your guide and fitted a kit on the low beams but now want to fit a kit on the fogs as well.

XenonSupply says:

Is there any way you can send a picture to us at help(at)xenonsupply(dot)com? this will help me out a bit to see what your connection typ eis and how it differs.

thanks,

ISF416 says:

Ok, so i bought the kit and did everything that you showed on the video, but my connection to the bulbs is differnt then yours, i belive it is because my IS is equipped with AFS. What do you suggest?

XenonSupply says:

The Premium kits only come in a 4300K and 6000K color because they do not manufacture a premium bulb in other color variations. Standard kits offer more color selection with 8000K. The standard kit works great on the Lexus.

ISF416 says:

Dose the Premium H11 Kit for the IS 250/350 work with 8k bulbs?
