I have just listened to your story, Muddy Puddles, George, a Walk, it sounds like an episode of Peppa Pig.
If you can use a spanner for the jubilee clips for the ones that have a hexagon shape on them. Usually you never undo the fully just loosen them enough to slide them down. That metal tool he used is called mole grips. Definitely get yourself a pair or two they come in handy for many things.

Are you still driving this piece of sh*t! Just got rid of my Landie, JLR products are utter garbage and would never go near one again. If you genuinely need a large, rugged 4×4 get a Land Cruiser.
Man. That is precisely the reason i would never buy British. There's soooo much 'it'll do' going on. That guilty clip is man made error at Range Rover
Hi Lucy, new to your channel. The pipe fixings are normally called Jubilee clips. You don't normally take them fully off, you just slacken them and then pull the pipes off.
I watched Tommy Autos review of a Range Rover it was a good honest review and put me off one.

What a wimp wearing gloves ,my god , good old traditional machanics don't wear gloves to move spring clips and jubilee clips
