21:03 watching that 5mm diameter glob of molten metal land on your T-shirt and leisurely burn its way through.

George Moore says:

With all the comments here about project Binky I thought I'd better check it out. Glad I did. Now I'm hooked and plenty of episodes to catch up on!

Hanson Linek says:

You probably would have had a lot less problems if you stitched short sections of weld and moved around instead of doing those long welds.

Peter Nicholls says:

It might not be qualified advice, but at least your advice was qualified.

Peter Nicholls says:

Been waiting for this!

Andrew Russell-Boulton says:

Good result Geoffrey, though you do make me cringe every time I see you welding without gloves. It's not about the risk of getting burned by spatter, it's about the radiation. The amount of UV coming off that arc is staggering and the old inverse square law means it's super nasty up close. I have a friend who has permanent skin damage on the outside of his left forearm from welding without a long sleeve. He's lucky he doesn't have skin cancer . . . yet. The damage can be cumulative so please take care.

Samuel McCormick says:

Zsolt Hajdu says:

On any occasions you have to weld this much on a panel where warpage will ALWAYS exist(you simply can't rule it out), you should jump around a lot more than you did. Making 30-40mm log welds then jump somewhere really far. Then wait to let it cool. You will still get warpage but it would be localised, small waves instead of geometry changes.

Gentili Giuliano says:

Have you ever thought to take it to have an hot dip galvanizing for the chassis? seems corrosion is one of the biggest problem for it

Stalin says:

I always look forward to the resto vids.
