Can this work for the passenger side as well

@edwardgrimes8572 says:

Thanks, Mike! Any update on the fix for the loss of the suspension info screen after the stereo install? That is the ONLY reason I have not updated the stereo! Hope you found a work-around!!!

@BadGrandma says:

This is just happened on my 12’ LR4. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. This video helps.

Hi Mike, thanks for the video. I swear I am following the same path with every problem I have had. Can you remind me if you had to replace your water pump twice and what the fix was?

Maybe I missed it- been awhile since I’ve watched these vids..Awesome vids really helpful!! Did u ever figure out how to get the original navigation/car performance monitor to work.. I love that option and is what’s holding me bk from updating radio… ? If not cool just wondering.. Vote for back up camera video…

@CowboyCartel says:

I've gone through all your LR3 videos so far, and I am sure I need 90% of this and a lot of others. Thanks for the work, I know how much work it is.

I vote backup camera

The Omac liners are intriguing. I have seen the LR3 version is available, but the Lr4 version has been out of stock. I am surprised they are different, but they lost them separately so I will believe them.

I’d love to see the removal of the rear top break light housing! So glad to see you back. Congrats on the move too!

@losahos says:

Either the door or backup are good. I’d love to see if you have the 4×4 screen working with the aftermarket head unit. That’s something I want to do.

A couple other wet floor repairs I had to do after I did this repair.

I had to replace the cowl on my 05 as it had warped and was letting water in thru the ac filter area on the passenger side.

While I was doing that, on the external a-pillars, there is a hole where a foam grommet goes, but the foam withers away over time. The repair is to cut off the tab with the rotted foam, and cover the hole with some kind of “NASA Tape” as one of the other LR3 repair gurus on YouTube calls it.

Finally, I did have to cut off the ac drain tube nipple on the passenger side (up above the transmission) to let the condensation run out freely.

Hopefully you wont have to do all of those, but when there is water in the floorboards, these are some other culprits beyond just the deteriorated sunroof drains.

Great channel. Glad you are back.

Either one is fine with me.

@chubbstep says:

Time to fix mines and that backup camera placement looks good. There really isn't any other descrete location than at the tailgate light. You'd just have to calibrate and hope that the field of view covers and centers out the image on the screen

Thanks for the inspiration Mike-This has been on my ‘to do’ list for 6 months. I had the parts so I tackled it this morning. It took longer to get the parts off than changing out the rubber part, which was disconnected, disintegrated and plugged.
