Land Rover Discovery 300tdi : Alloy Roof Rack and UHF Antenna Install

Finishing off the install of the UHF antenna and also installing the recently purchased aluminium roof rack for my Land Rover Discovery 300tdi.
Note: My videos are not a tutorial/how to. I am not a qualified mechanic so please refer to your workshop manual with your work. Do not use the content on my channel as a replacement for a workshop manual or mechanic.

Hi i always go through the passenger door drivers side its the one that gets the least used so the coax keeps in better condition and its a way from trees at the side of the road but it looks a very neat installation nice one geoff

Nice roof!!! End bad mounting antenna.
Grounding the antenna should be connected to the body.
This should be done not ground wires.
This is due to the fact that the car was to the whole antenna. Forming machine influences antenna radiation pattern.
Your mount isolated from the body trunk (electrically isolated) – not correctament.
Sorry.
It will work, but how.
And do not forget to set up a standing wave coefficient.
When setting coefficient, it turns out that the antenna can not be adjusted – it means there is no normal ground on the car body.
