I mashed my LT230 transfer case and now I have to replace it. Seems that the differential in the transfer box of Land Rovers is a weak point. If you are going to be wheel spinning around lock your case, like I didn’t.
This video shows work on a Discovery 1 but seems they are all Land Rovers of this era are very similar.
