I changed my front air struts on my Land Rover LR3 for under $500. You will be amazed at how easy it is to change your air suspension on a Land Rover. The cost of changing the shocks are a major reason that keeps people from buying a Land Rover. After watching this video on how to install struts that fear will be erased.

Thanks to your video I was able to replace my air struts saving me lots of money compared to what Land Rover here in my home state charges. Thanks again
Once again, fantastic video.
I really learn alot about my LR Discovery 3 from watching your videos.
I thought i had to spend alot of money in repairshops when i bought the car, but you have shown me that i can do alot of the work myself.
Keep up the good work m8 and the wonderful videos.

Hello and thanks for the videos. I’ve got an 05 rrs supercharged with about 170k miles on the clock. It recently developed an intermittent chirping noise while driving. The rear center drive shaft has been changed. I don’t think it’s coming from underneath the hood either. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
This is a great vid of a common fault on these cars which after watching this film has made the process quite acceptable for the home mechanic. You made it look so easy.
Did you have any issues with height calibration?
I had a big issue for how to get rid of air before install, you did it so easy and I can see you are the best at the LR sites thanks
Hi from Turkey. thanks videos.
oxmanagainm what brand of air strut did you purchase? how long have you had them installed on you lr3 for?
good video louds and clear i love the way you explain . thank you so much ….
you should by a Range Rover Sport, so that I could learn how to do the maintenance on my car….. great videos
air leak suspension..
Are these cars "famous" for air leek suspension?
How do you know if you need to install air struts? I have a 2008 lr3 and the air suspension seems to be working properly except for the front right side. If i enable the lifted mode and then turn the car off I can hear the air coming out of the front passenger side. Is this noise the strut? If so i will replace myself and follow this video. Another question I had is would i eventually have to replace the air compressor? and if so how will I know it needs to be replaced? TY
Awesome Job!!! This is going to be me in a couple weeks. Pray for me!
I'm coming up to 90K on my LR3 so expecting to do this job sometime soon. Subscribed and bookmarked, thank you!
Really nice to see how one can do these things yourself. If you go to Land Rover you´ll have to pay a fortune to change these air shocks. And you are not guarantied that the one who does the job knows how to do it properly.
which ones did you buy I couldn't find the pair you were talking about through the links you provided
Love your work and dedication. Considering getting myself a LR3, and I love your videos showcasing how you can fix things. Keep up the good work and don't give up !
Hi I have a 2008 LR3 V8 with roughly 67,000 miles on it.My question to you is when the truck sits idle for couple of days i noticed it gets lower, I changed all 3 air blocks but when i start it you see she goes up I know it's supposed to drop a little when it sits for a while but I don't think as much as it does in short period of time. Plus when it comes up there is slight hesitation in front only do you think I should change the front air bags? The truck will be 10 yrs old in a few months what do you think? Great video…….Would like to add that I live in New York City where the pot holes are bigger then the Grand Canyon …
I don't need new shocks now but I definitely saved this video to my favorites. How did you know that you needed new front shocks?
Awesome video!
Fantastic video, you're great at simplifying the procedure. This makes it possible for people with little mechanical background to consider approaching this kind of job by themselves. Excellent!
great video
Bro… where do you live? And would you be willing to work on mine?
To bad for me, maybe not you, but if I was your neighbor we would probably spend more time together working on our LR3's than our wives would like, I have the '07 in black 96k miles tan interior, looks just like yours except the running boards, I removed all of the lettering on the front hood and back gate. I'm always looking to add something cool to it.
Take care brother and thinks for your vid's, they are very helpful.
great videos ! got yourself a sub !
Great job explaining everything and showing how it's done
Definitely the most articulate with pin point precision instructions to maintain our land rovers by far from anyone on you tube I'v seen so far. Thank you sir for taking your time to do these videos for us, it really has given me the confidence to carry out this job myself. I am very pleased I have come by your filming of these great vehicles & your love of them really does shine through. Keep up the great work I am looking forward to the next one. Kind regards from Wales in the United Kingdom.
Nice video and thanks for the links
Excellent. You said you heard a leak so I guess it was obvious. Was the right front side lower at the end of the day? I am wondering if that valve block leaks as well in some cases. Good job getting it fixed. Tell people you will change theirs for $100 off dealer price.
Thanks for this! Great video – at some point fairly soon I'll be replacing my air struts on my Disco 3.. this video is exactly what i needed 🙂 Cheers!
