You can blow up a motor with too much oil. After the cam beats the oil into bubbles it’s doesn’t work too well.

Just take it to your local speedylube, you may make it back home before the cross threaded oil plug allows all the oil to leak out, that is providing they remembered to put any oil back in it of course.

I had a friend that had a Jetta can’t remember what year but he put 9 quarts of oil in the car and then checked it was way overfilled and I asked him well did you flush the old oil and his responds was I thought it did it itself in my mind I think he though it was like gasoline that it burned after awhile I can assure you he wasn’t that smart what he did
