Instruction DIY video to install an automatic side mirror folding module on a Kia Sportage R. The mirrors will fold when pressing the lock button on the remote control and will unfold mhen ignition key is turned on. These relay units are sold on Ebay and AliExpress. The video is also showing the wiring codes to use. Same units might also work for Hyundai IX35.

I am also after one of these and your video has given me the nerve to diy it. I looked on Aliexpress and they seemed to all be for 2015/2016 models. Will this work on mine (2011 first edition)? Have you a link for the one that you got and could post on here or send to me?

Dear friend hi … thank you for your kind guidance today i try the Orange wire and its work amazing cause when i press the lock key from the remote the mirror going to fold and when i press the unlock key the mirrors are unfold . And i drove the car for more then 3 hours on 100 kilo meter per hours noting happen and everything are working well . Thank you so much . Kind regards

Thank you for you kind response . Yes when i go to the ACC mode the mirrors is opening . I meant when i press the UNLOCK key from remote the mirrors are going to fold or close it should be when i press the LOCK key should close or fold the mirror . Could you find a solution for it …! I have KIA SPORTAGE 2014 FIN version . Thank you .
Hi dear friend there is small issue i just connect the green wire to the blue wire of door connector . But when i press the open kay from the remote key the mirrors are folding and when i insert the key in key hole of car and turn it to the ACC the mirrors are going to open . Actual is when i press the Lock button from the remote key the mirror should be closed and when i press the Unlocke button the mirror should go to open .!!! Could you please help me for the issue..? and i brought the item from alixpress

Hi does that require some mechanical parts inside the mirrors? I mean are to get that work do my car's mirrors should support auto folding ?
