Kia Soul automatic transmission replacement

How to remove and replace an automatic transmission in a Kia Soul. This was a 2.0L 2010 model. I also replaced the torque converter seal, output shaft axle seals, transmission filter change, and SPIII fluid. This transmission only fits 2010-2011, but other first generation cars up to 2014, and 2nd gen cars up to 2019 are likely about the same job. 2012 2013 2015 2016 2017 2018 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19.

I keep 2 pieces of rubber hose to extend the transmission lines so cleaning them are easier and that cleaner from Napa is the best then blow it out with air it's perfectly clean

Great Video. I have a 2020 Soul EX and called for the first oil change with the mileage now at 3900 (treating my vehicle as experiencing severe use). So they confirmed via text the date and add a SW upgrade for the engine which is not unusual. Then, I read in the text "IVT R&R." Called them immediately about that and was told Kia is telling dealers to run code checks on all Kia vehicles – not just Souls – looking at the trans control module. If codes show up, do a SW fix. If codes still appear, replace the trans. Safercar.gov doesn't have this recall yet but Kia is saying that's what it is. I've seen post on the http://www.kiasoulforum.com of people with new Kia Souls losing power and only being able to go 3 mph. Have you heard of this? I hope they do a goo job.

Hi there, I have a 2010 Kia soul 2.0 which it doesn't go above 30 mph and it doesn't want to go in reverse. I've checked air, fuel system. It seems ok. I don't have an engine light on. Do u know the symptoms of a bad torque converter?

I recently bought an 03 Pilot with 198k miles. It strikes me as being well maintained (no proof/m.log). Current liquids all seem fresh in the motor. Even current trans has a decent red color (slightly darkened).
What would your opinion be on replacing the trans fluid?
I've heard don't change it if you don't know. Would you agree?
