Kia has a pretty decent warranty to.
The Sorrento is NOT the same size as a RAV4. Closer to the Highlander size in this year. The RAV4 competes with the Sportage.
Today the Telluride competes with the Highlander.
The Sorrento has been built in the USA since 2010.
Kia soul with 1.6 liter manual transmission is super reliable.

Great video like always Scotty. Have you considered doing a video on the utility mini vans that a lot of people are using in the gig economy like Ford Transits or Nissan NV 200? Please if you could it'd be great.
Kia warranty is incredible.
Work has Hino's, which are commercial Toyota's. Always one headed to the shop, or coming from the shop, or in the shop. Kia has a 100K mile ten year warranty. Keep your Toyota.
My 16 Sorento gets terrible fuel economy (17mpg). And I have the 2.4 4cyl and FWD, which should be the most fuel efficient configuration. Mine only has 27k miles. No problems yet… overall, we're happy with it. However, the 2.4 4 cylinders are known for blowing up. I do have a Sonata with the related 2.0T, and that motor died at 119k.
The transmissions on both cars are the 6sp Hyundai built units. They are reliable. I have 155k on my Sonata and the original transmission is doing OK, apart from some rough shifts on a very cold startup.
Kia, and everything from HMG is awesome! You really do yourself a disservice if you don't at least cross shop their cars these days.

Yea but that 6 grand you save buying the Kia you don't get when you sell it. Toyota has a much better resale value.

The only difference, is when you look at a loaded Sorento, it's a very nice and well appointed interior. You look at a loaded Rav4 Limited, and it still looks like a taxi cab. Hard plastic everywhere and some of the fakest pleather seats I ever felt. Feels like school bus seats. And I say that as a 2016 Rav4 owner. I feel just like that Sorento owner. I love the reliability in this Rav, but the next car I need to get something more appealing and not something where I feel like I am aspiring to get another typical Uber taxi cab.
The sorento is bigger than a rav4, the rav4 seems more like the size of a Kia sportage
I've had two Kia Sedona's. 2006 I bought new and sold recently with 230,000 miles. The new owner drives by my house to work everyday. I bought a 2014 Sedona new. Currently 111,000 miles. All I have done to both vehicles is normal maintenance, oil, tires, brakes. On the 2006 I changed the spark plugs at 160,000 and it they were still good. On the 2014 i recently took them out and put them back. Good as new. They are both the luxury models and were about 8,000 cheaper than the best Chrysler and Honda. I would probably buy another one.
