Thanks much, I just changed mine today because of you!!!

Jim M says:

Thank you. Your video saves me from having to dig into the owners manual !

Melissa Pike says:

Good except the camera is not positioned to show the proper slot to put the screwdriver in clearly. It's the thinner/smaller slot; not the bigger one.

Marek says:

Zdecydowanie lepiej użyć szerokiego, płaskiego śrubokrętu. Kluczykiem można tylko poszczerbić otwór w miejscu podważenia.

nova gunn says:

The key you removed from from the fob will insert into the small opening at the end of the fob giving a small turn the back of the Fob will pop open. No need to use a screwdriver. This is how it works in my Kia Fob for my 2019 Sedona.

Jason Spear says:

Great video. Thanks

Kristeen Evans says:

Thank you! I just got the low key battery warning too and this was so helpful.

Barbara Dunn says:

Many thanks! Your clear instructions did it! Interestingly, my fob looks nothing like the one in my manual so manual wasn’t helpful. Several videos on YouTube for my 17 Optima also demoed how to change fob batteries but they did not apply to my particular fob.

Thanks for sharing this. Do you need to somehow re-program the remote to the car after changing the battery?
