Is this similar to the Kia forte?

Hazel Davenport says:

Is this the same as 2018 kia forte?

Jeremy W. says:

FYI if you’re replacing the wiper switch only, you don’t need to remove the steering wheel at all (the manual even points this out.) I just did it without touching the steering wheel.

The angle is a tiny bit awkward, but do-able without damaging anything.

Is it the same process for a 2018 kia optima

Isaiah Baker says:

I have a 2012 kia sportage and the driver side tail light does not work. I replaced bulbs and nothing. I can get it to work but once I close the hatchback it shuts off again, I have a brake light and turn signal on that side but the tail light will not work, also I can see it get power for just a split second than turn off. Could this be a indicator of a bad headlight turn signal switch?

Travelinmatt76 says:

I had to do the same repair, the headlights would flicker when using the turn signal. I checked continuity in the switch and it's all over the place for all the pins. It's a wonder the switch works at all.

Michael Gray says:

Is it broken completely if the top half came off the left switch…. It looks like it can easily be reconnected but can’t find anything on it

Jennifer Dazley says:

Is this the same steps for a kia rondo?

ROBERTO HERNANDEZ says:

I need to do this to my kia sedona lx 2008,

Eric Severson says:

My headlights sometimes go out when I flip the right turn signal. Jiggling the switch gets them to come back on. I'm thinking to replace the switch but, I'm not sure if this is the problem or could it be something else?

Steven McNolty II says:

Do you know, is everything assembled relatively the same on a 2016 Sedona? It looks really similar.

Randy Ward says:

Is this a similar procedure for 2015 kia sedona van with blinker issues?

jneville880 says:

Thanks for the video. A friend of mine has a Soul, and when she depresses this switch to turn on the high beams, they will sometimes flicker on & off while she's driving. Also, the front left turn signal bulb occasionally doesn't flash, even though I know it's a brand new bulb. Do you think these issues could be related to the turn signal switch going bad? Or a problem with the wiring harness? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi, very good video. I have a question: I've a Kia Sport age 2012 and sometimes the switch for the fog lamps works and sometimes is not, should I change the left switch like you?, or maybe just check the connector? thanks

Francisco Parraguez says:

Thank you very much!…so much helpful the video, really!…very clear and direct in your explanation, question, which is the torque nut manufacture especification in this SUV?, i dont know, i have a Tucson 2011 its the same process you show, but i need the torque, thanks for yor help!

Paul M. Schmitz says:

Thanks very helpful-!!!

Jeffrey Buchanan says:

Will that work for 2018 Kia Sportage

tristan tobar says:

This looks very similar to a kia soul 2012 n you made that look so simple

Richard Flores says:

Do you have a part #? I think i may have purchased the wrong one..

Wrench Life in Joco says:

What was the reason for replacing the switch? I’m having an issue with headlight coming on and off by there self.

Brian Hess says:

“Torque nut to manufacturers specifications…”

BRAAAP! BRAAAAAP!!!

Joe Oliphant says:

Is this going to be very similar for a 2016 Kia Sedona? The dealer wants to charge a ton and I found an OEM replacement pretty cheap.

FLCRACKER85 says:

Very helpful

Mark Hal says:

Worked like a charm.
I replaced the left side multifunction switch yesterday. The part for the Base model cost $61.

CoryJano says:

Good video. Very direct, clear, and good enough angle. I’ll be replacing a friends MFS on her soul. Her her lane change signal is staying on sometimes.

I have a 2011 kia Optima and fog lights stopped working then came back on when use right turn signal then back off ,do I need to pull steering wheel to replace switch??

Nathan Malis says:

So my gf wiper switch snapped and is hanging by cables do you have to remove the steering wheel entirely to swap those our it seemed all you had to do was hit the lever to pull the switch off is that only accessible once everythings completly off or if i had small enough tools could i just pop those screws out drop the bottom cover and swap it out?

Faisal Nadeem says:

My azera 2012 fog light switch have a play in it . Which cause headlights on/off it self . Is it possible that only turn signal stick will change instead of complete switch..

Stuart McConnachie says:

Since you reattached the shroud after replacing the wheel, one wonders if it is possible to replace the stalks without removing the wheel at all? Sure, removing the cables and releasing the clips on the stalks may be a little more tricky.
