OK, dumb question here, apologies in advance, but I don't know anything about car stereos. LOVE your videos, they are super clear and helpful! Thanks! I would like to replace the stereo in my 06 Kia Sportage. It's as basic as it comes with CD, FM, AM, etc. but to play music or podcasts from my phone I have to use one of those old school transmitters that plugs into the cig lighter and then find a static channel on the FM. I would like to order a new stereo and harness adapter and install myself. I follow your videos just fine and have been able to do some similar electrical projects on my boat. What I really DON'T know or understand, is how to figure out a stereo to buy. All I want is a way to connect my phone to the stereo, I honestly don't care if its an Aux Jack, though I would prefer bluetooth. The dumb question is, can I just find a stereo that has Bluetooth or do I have to know how to figure out what is compatible with the car? Car does NOT have any wheel controls, backup camera, or anything like that, just basic as it comes. Thanks for any advice or project suggestions you can throw my way!!

hello, i have a 2007 kia sportage lx, same generation as this one. do you know if this generation requires a aftermarket antenna harness/adapter as well? been looking online and haven't found the answer. thanks !!

Hey man I have an 07 Sportage. trying to figure out the wiring diagram from the factory. I can't find a harness locally to fit it so I intend on doing it old school, cut and splice. I believe I figured out which are speakers and the constant, acc, ground, power atn, remote power, but then I have 3 extra wires. 2 black and 1 red??? one black and red are skinnier than the others and i'm assuming the extra black is another ground? any advice. I haven't cut anything yet. I'm installing a Dual DVD/CD player with touch screen. I understand it's harness but the Kia wire colors are way different. Thanks

About to do my gals Sportage with a single din pioneer, thanks!

Great video! I'm about to install a touch screen in my 07 Sportage. But the radio I got is one of the smaller back ones and with the bracket, I can't screw it to the radio. The bracket is covering the holes.
