Part Deux of my 2005 Kia Sedona starter replacement videos. By trial and error and your comments and suggestions I learned some new tips and tricks to help others successfully complete their starter replacement from underneath the van to hopefully save you some time. Sorry for the choppy video. I’m learning how to use a new editing program. Please check out the other videos on my YouTube page and like my Facebook page @IdahoWeibert60 for some pics and Videos from Idaho . Big Thanks To John Sortore who first commented about doing the work from underneath
Wondering if its the same on an 06 sportage 4wd
Sliped the heat shield out by pulling it towards the oil filter and pushing it up! No need to remove the pipe! Or really anything else ijs! Goodluck guys
Thanks for the informative video.
Glad to see other people who love and work on their own Kia vans.
Hoping to keep my 2005 Sedona on the road for many years to come.
Thanks for the great video and commendation. You could be on the old TV show shade tree mechanic!
Thanks for this video, it's a bit clearer to see than the other one. I've been having a hell of a time trying to get these bolts blind. I finally realized I need a universal joint to try to get that one bolt in the deep well. I've pulled the wrong bolts so many times I think. Just to clarify though, there's ONLY 2 mount bolts…right? It should be loose after top and bottom are removed? My '06 has 2 bolts near the top of the starter and they're both the same size… I can't tell which one is holding it in on top.
Thanks help me a lot got to do it myself but I did it thank
You made this look too easy damn it.
