WARNINGS:
This kit requires an experienced fabricator/welder for installation. If you are not an experienced welder or you would not be willing to risk your life on your welds please enlist an experienced individual. Contact us may be able to help you get in touch with a qualified individual.
This kit is meant to cover most issues in the associated area however it may not fully cover all of the issues a frame may have in this area. This kit may not be sufficient to repair extreme rust issues. Again please enlist an experienced fabricator for this installation.
Great video! Really like your explanation of your process. I do have a 60's Mercury with rust in the frame rails. Quite similar to how this Jeep looks. I want to make repairs to my car, but I am unsure if I should cut out the rust or do a repair as you have shown and build "repair" patches and weld to the existing frame. What are your thoughts? Thank you!
Ordering a repair kit this weekend this east coast rust is killer. Great video very descriptive 10/10
I don’t possess the necessary skills or tools to do this job, but it was extremely well explained…Thanks!
how much does a job like this cost?
good video exacly what i need,
is a rush delivery available?
Would you recommend anyone in Michigan to do this?
That cricket is working overtime.
What are you using for a welder and wire size?
Got the same.kit amazing
Awesome Kit. Way more affordable and addresses rust better than competitors even though the welding install will cost more. Recommend to anyone with rusted out frames
Can this kit be used if you cut out the lower portion of the frame? I noticed you went over the old frame without removing lower portion where the rust is. I would think in time the rust will continue to bleed through to the new piece. I like the kit but wondering if it will still work if the frame is cut out?
Buddy of mine in Wisconsin, TJ put him in the ditch when the frame broke from all the rust. You peeps have to put up with hell up there in the salt belt!
Got a video on removing the gas tank and fuel/brake lines?
Coolio, I'll have to do something like this, this winter. Though, mine ain't as bad and I have a long arm kit.
