I’m not the best in reverse. Anyone have this setup or similar? I’d think with it hanging kind of low, you’d have to back up almost perfectly to get it back on. Is that tricky? I’d be worried about roll cage hitting the top if you aren’t perfect?
I am going to try to replicate this tomorrow. Are you able to drive in to park under the hard top? How many inches is the ratchet hook above the hardtop?
Good job in explaining your tutorial. I have the same Jeep that you do and am trying to figure a way of hanging my hardtop also. Your idea seems to be the best idea for the JL. The only question that I have I have is do you feel confident of those hooks not coming loose while in the air?
