Good job on this video, enjoyed the testing you did as well with this one.
I am impressed that there was actually a colder air difference, I have put a couple of them on trucks in the past especially when I lived 60 plus miles away from work, did it for a little bit better millage and it eventually paid for itself, plus, i do think it sounds cool when its sucking the air, like you showed on the end of the video. Fun stuff. thanks again and have a blessed week my friend.

So I'm planning on getting a RedRock 4×4 Cold Air Intake Kit for my 07 Rubicon 4 door, but I'd like to get that mesh water resistant cover for it. Unfortunately, the filter on the RedRock one is a lot bigger so the one you showed would definitely not fit. Could anyone help with a similar mesh net to protect the exposed filter from water? I'd rather not get a snorkel.

RFI-Crypto Lab says:

Congrats on getting Hoodwinked on this snake oil.

Sam R says:

I would love that for my 2014 jeep

JKU Hunter says:

Still liking it? Any issues? I went ahead and ordered the same setup you Have (with the pre-filter). Should be here this week. Can’t wait to try it out. I’ve been on the fence for a while and your video pushed me over lol.

Jeffrey Wheeler says:

Any check engine lights after?

Jeffrey Wheeler says:

Can you run a dry filter on it?
Oil filters dont run so well in the desert.

Trey Loughridge says:

Ben, very cool mod. Would look great on Lola, my 2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ.

Antonio Almanza says:

After connecting the sensor, does the "check engine" light come on?

Wade Wolf says:

My god what is the beeping in the background!?!

Jeepinwargammer says:

Good review, but you had the heat issue backwards.
Aluminum is not a good heat sink so it wicks heat away better. Comparable Plastics are actually slightly porous, and tends to be more of a heat sink.
This is why aluminum rads, and inter-coolers are so good at what they do.
