When did jeeps become a pia to work on

jthouston44 says:

Do you really have to reinstall the dum brackets

Michael McSoley says:

Is it the same process for a grand cherokee? How long did the job take?

Thank you for the best video on this repair! Will order spark plugs and those fancy tools!

Timothy Kennedy says:

life of a jeeper says:

Thanx for this video, I have a 2015 Wrangler and was going to get all my spark plugs changed . The dealer where I bought the jeep told me $330.00 to do it. I did it myself and spent $100.00 (had to buy tools too) followed this video step by step and saved $200.00 ! And at the end I got to keep the tools LOL

Tina says:

Geez, that's ridiculous to have to disconnect so much to get to the spark plugs.

James Dondanville says:

Absolutely awesome video. Crazy how long and difficult some of that was but got my coils and plugs replaced step by step.. Thank you very much for taking the time to make the video as I can only imagine what a dealer or shop would charge to do that task??!!! Thanks again for you help.

w0320195 says:

So the intake gaskets are not a sale item on your website.

Man and a Jeep says:

Very detailed video thank you for sharing it. However, I must add that this is very poorly designed. It should not have to take this long to get to something like spark plugs.

Cipher Oceanus says:

Don't you think you should wash the motor first!

Niclacoste says:

I really hate it when you have to remove the intake manifold to access the other side of the engine bc it adds like 30 to 60mins to the job

Medevil9908 says:

Whoever designed this engine most likely hated mechanics. Changing spark plugs shouldn't take this much to simply access them. So dumb. Good video btw.

David Hines says:

Great Video! Camera angles, lighting, and audio are top notch

silentjde says:

A 2006 is a TJ And has a 4.0L, 2007-2011 has a 3.8L, 2012 to 2018 has the 3.6L. The JL is also and 18 and different as well.
Also you can bend up the bracket on the passenger side rather that take the brackets off.
