Today on JD Cars we’ll be installing a new power steering pump on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport equipped the 3.6L pentastar engine. I picked up a rebuilt pump from Advance Auto Parts for this job and it worked out perfectly. I was surprised with how straightforward the replacement was. Just three 13mm bolts hold the pump to the engine block and there’s one inlet line and one outlet line, as expected. Just don’t forget to install the new seals along with the c-clip from your old pump! I hope you enjoyed the video. Please leave any future video suggestions down below in the comments. Hey thanks, great vid and even though you warned me, I still smashed my hand taking off the line :-). Took me 2.5 hours just like you suggested. For those with stock plastic fender inners, I just took off the front 4 plastic fasteners and bent it back. Really appreciate the detailed procedure, awesome job.
Awesome vid man. Just ordered my pump (old one squeeling like a banshee, can here it over the radio). Be tearing into it in a couple days (2012 Gecko JKU), and really didnt know where to begin.
