nicely done man…
Job well done, and looks great, I have just ordered the same kit, will take
a few weeks to ship down under!
Dang man, I barely made it through the intro when you were talking. You
need to speak a lot clearer. You speak so soft and let all your sounds in
your words kind of blend so it makes it hard to hear you. It almost sounds
slurred like you are leaned out on morphine or something. You need to
speak up, speak clearly and enunciate.
Other than that I like the video and like that you are doing it with hand
tools. I do all my car work with hand tools. I have never owned
a pneumatic or even electric impact wrench. I just did all new shocks,
struts and springs on my Maxima as well as new drilled and slotted disks,
pads and some other odds and ends.
All in all a good job just work on speaking up and clearly.
2 mans job for sure
adjustable control arms? adjustable track bar? You do realize you are no
longer stock, right? Any polyurethane bushings to better handle the
stress? Quick release for the sway bar? Did u sell the vehicle?
Did you have to shim the rear axel? Any drive line vibes?
so this comes with bump stops?
i give props to any one to do this without a impact wrench
after having the kit installed have you run into any problems with the kit
???
How low does it set after the kit “settles” ?
I’m going to run 31s, will I need wheel spacers ?
Will I need longer brake lines ?
Does the back sag down any at all after installation ?
could you link the tires you have? Thank you
Hi there!! I have a concern… Last year I installed a 3IN JEEP SERIES II
SUSPENSION LIFT KIT in my Jeep XJ ’96 but I didn´t change tires because
they were almost new… I think I´m gonna change them this year and I want
to buy tires 31″x10.5″… my concern is if I need a wheel backspacing for
this suspension???
So…. explain to me how this is a how to video.
What size and backspacing are the wheels?
Hard to understand what you are saying, try speech therapy!
how long does it take to instal that kit?
That is a really nice looking rig.
How long it take
what type of the leaf spring that you used..?
They are 31×10.5×15. No rubbing. The tire on top was just tired down with a
ratchet strap.
How much did everything cost
you forgot the longer tie rods carfull of the death raddle
What is the tire size? Any rubbing?
No its only a 3” lift so you don’t need one but if you would like one you
can install it. I drove it for 6 months and never had a problem.
even with a 3 inch lift you didnt have too change anything else, because i
know with some cars when you go 3 inch and up you need too start changing
out alot of parts, which turns a close too a $1000, job, into a few
thousand on a toyota landcruiser you go beyond 3 inch lift you need to
change alot of other stuff not just the coils and stuff
Same questions as others. What size tires, any rubbing, and how did you
mount the tire on top
What tires?
Do you have any driveline vibrations after installing the lift? Dana 30 or
Chrysler 8.25″ rear axle? Hard to see in the vid…
Dana 35
I would ask what size tires but looks like you don’t answer questions at
all.
How’d u compress the coil springs?
How much did everything in total cost? (Tires, Rims, Lift) I have a stock
98 sport, and this is what I want mine to look like. Great Vid!
I have a 98 XJ, Im debating whether I should keep it, as I am leaving to
bootcamp in September, but how much would a 3in lift cost? where did you
get it? size of wheels and tires, and price? thank you 🙂
is this a hydro, nitro, or N2.0 series
