I have an updated model from Eway backup camera. It’s a plug at the rear with the camera with only back and red wires attached to the plug. I am connected to the ground and reverse wires. But do not have any video on the screen

I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that in order to get a review camera to work on the stock radio, you have to have the dealer flash your system with a special code, so that the radio will enable reverse mode on screen.

Thanks for this video! I have an automatic, and nowhere else (including/especially the "instructions" that came with my camera) described what to do with the short red leads that came off the yellow video cable on either end. Although I did run a longer wire and tap into the cigarette lighter to enable the backup camera even while not in reverse since the Pioneer 4400NEX has the ability to manually switch to camera view.
