Picked up a winch from a friend and decided to do a install video of mounting it and then wiring it. I hope this helps you with your project and helps you install it your self. The whole process is really easy and shouldn’t take that long it should also help you replace or change out a broken winch. The vehicle used was a jeep wrangler jk for the winch install, Thanks again for watching.

Another thanks for showing where you ran the cables to the battery. Working on putting a Warn on my JK.

No kill switch between the winch and battery?

Installing winch today and this was so helpful. 21 JLU has a full engine bay and this was so helpful to figure out the wiring.

Thanks for posting the video.

Minor comment: the nut on the battery clamp closest to the post is actually a conical nut that tightens the clamp.

Putting a wire or anything under this nut, will prevent the clamp from staying tight. The nut further away from the post is the one to use.
