DIY Lift Kit Install: Jeep Wrangler JK Gets 2.5" Teraflex Spring Lift Kit + Aluminum Rims & BFG KO2s

I made her new Jeep look Old School!

My wife secretly always wanted a Jeep when she was growing up. We were finally able to make that dream come true and then, we fixed it up with some new wheels and tires. We also installed a Teraflex 2.5″ Spring Suspension lift kit with shocks from Offroad-source.com.

Tires are 295/75R 16
Rims are American Racing Rims Baja 16″X8″

If you have a Jeep or 4×4 truck and you’re looking for wheels and tires or a lift kit, check them out:

Great video! How does the new suspension ride compared to the original ones? And do you have the measurements after the lift? Thanks!

Erik 1701 says:

Stock Rim size always those who put 22s or more and those stupid low profile tires on any vehicle has a special place with the vehicle Devil ….and those extra wide tires on trucks UGH , id pop every one of them .. if its not a monster truck they dont belong on daily drivers

Richard Saxton says:

Your Wrangler looks great! I’ve had 5 of them over the years starting in 1998, 2 of them with lift kits. Definitely like the lifted Jeeps better. Also, I’m like you as far as the rims and tires… maybe a little “old school” but I like the look much better.

Hans gruber says:

Nice work Neil! Good taste!

Adee Munoz says:

37 tires black 17s with 3 1/2 lift for my rubicon unlimited, but like how 35s on 16s look on 2 doors

Michael McGuire says:

Nice Neal!! I have to admit I must be having a midlife crisis as well, love it! The old style is definitely what I would choose…can’t get used to this new look… reminds me of having 4 spare tires on all the way around

Another great video production

Ken McConnell says:

Looks great. Don't forget to wave to us fellow jeepers

John Pyle says:

Hate is not a strong enough word for the way I feel about these new 20+ inch rims with rubber bands for tires on a truck! I have had 23ish 4 wheel drive trucks that were lifted with BFG Mud Terrains 33- 35 inches on 15's or 16.5's on the 3/4 tons and I don't think anything looks better than black and chrome/polished aluminum! I have to disagree with you on the white letters out. No pinstripes, two tone, or anything on the body from the dealer. Literally just black and chrome/polished aluminum.

Trey Turner says:

No shame in being from the old school

Alan Connelly says:

Great lookin jeep – Kleeman sent me by the way LOL

mike broyles says:

Happy Anniversary!
