The common sign of a wheel bearing going bad is a strange noise from the front end. it would be a low growl most noticeable when turning a corner. It could also make noise all the time as well. Change the wheel hub bearing in your Jeep tj isn’t very hard at all. Remove the tire, brakes, rotor, then remove the cotter pin and nut off the axle. Remove the 3 bolts from the rear and the bearing should just come off.
