Today we are installing a cabin air filter. The steps will work for 2011-2017 Jeep Wranglers. A cabin air filter is great in preventing dust and dirt from getting inside you HVAC box and a must have in my book if the vehicle is driven off road. It prevents the A/C evaporator from getting coated in dirt when driving off road. A wet evaporator (condensation) and dirt will create a “mud wall” that will prevent air from flowing thru the evaporator fins.

hello good video but you should have checked the actuator for increments between full heat and full cold as I replaced one . the new part would only got full open or full closed no blending in between so the part needed to be changed twice

Perfect installation instructions. Because if your videos, I changed my serpentine belt and installed my cabin air filter in my 2016 Rubicon today. Is appears that one was not installed from the factory. The only issue I had was, I had to leave my key on so the door would stay open. Other than that easy peasy. Thank you.

Joseph Christian Roldan says:

You explain so well. I appreciate that.

Greg Benford says:

Awesome, finally cut dried and to the poinr
